Winner of Interior Design Magazine's 2020 BEST OF YEAR award - the Gil Melott BESPOKE Luz SC Form 19 Bronze & Alabaster Sconce serves not just as a light fixture, but as an anthropomorphic piece of sculpture adorning the wall. Its delicate form belies its physical weight as a solid bronze object.

Constructed by hand from cast bronze pieces that have been carefully patinated. A tubular brass arm secures a delicate bronze bezel into place, to which has been permanently affixed a hand carved Mexican Alabaster shade. The stone glows warmly when illuminated, reflecting a soft ambiance onto and outwards from the smoothly patinated backplate. This subtle illumination is meant to emulate the glow of an early morning sun. The SC Form 19 sconce is the third of multiple Gil Melott BESPOKE lighting iterations.
